月兔變火燒兔 霍夫曼：台人熱情

荷蘭籍藝術家霍夫曼創作的大型裝置藝術月兔，上午拆解時，途中吊車壓碎機引擎過熱，工作人員查看時疑因火花掉落，引燃地面乾草，波及月兔，變成火燒兔。

霍夫曼得知後，第一時間關心有無人員受傷，接著「解嘲」說，可能是11天展期中，承受台灣264萬人次參觀民眾的熱情，累積在身上的「熱情」，再加上今天氣候風勢強勁，月兔「發自內心」想與台灣人民道別。

策展單位蔚龍藝術總經理王玉齡表示，月兔本身是環保材質，原展後計畫就是回收。
