不買F-16C/D？軍方否認

今天(11號)有媒體報導指出，由於有將領認為，未來空戰都是「視距外作戰」，戰機只是空用武器的「載台」，新舊不是問題，我方因此傾向改變政策，不採購F-16C/D型戰機，國防部回應表示，空軍目前正在執行F-16A/B和IDF性能提升案，內容包括雷達、航電和武器系統，可以大幅提升作戰效益，國防部會持續針對未來敵情威脅、國家財力和整體制空戰力需求等因素，妥慎規劃F-16C/D或其他先進戰機，媒體報導內容並非事實。

國防部表示，國軍強化自我防衛的決心與能力從未改變，後續如果能獲得具備匿蹤、短場或垂直起降、超音速巡航、視距外作戰等能力的先進戰機，將使台海安全更有保障。

至於唯一還沒有進行性能提升的幻象機，國防部表示，幻象戰機零附件與法國原廠採購合約履約情況良好，現仍持續依合約辦理維修零附件籌補並管制依約交貨，不影響戰機維護，目前幻象戰機妥善率良好。(圖為空軍現役F-16戰機)
