奇景 冬瓜長樹上年年可收成

一般冬瓜都是長在地上，彰化社頭卻有一堆冬瓜長在樹上，原來是為主人吃完冬瓜，種籽隨意亂丟，沒想到發芽長出了藤，結果這冬瓜藤就爬上了樹，每年都可以收成。

傳統印象中，沉甸甸的冬瓜，和西瓜一樣都是長在沙土地上，社頭這家的冬瓜很特別，不喜歡住一樓，搬家了，住進高樓大廈，長在樹上。

民眾：「我摘了好幾條來煮了，有十幾條耶。」

真的很會爬，一條一條冬瓜，又大又圓潤，吊掛寄住在樹上，和雞蛋花當鄰居，說也奇怪，不是應該長在地上，怎麼爬上來的?

園主朋友：「因為朋友送他一條芋香冬瓜，把它丟在那邊，自己長出來攀附長一堆，我也覺得很神奇。」

冬瓜結實飽滿，高掛在樹枝上，這藤也真夠粗壯，最小顆的就有4公斤，最大10公斤。

民眾：「冬瓜長在樹上，真的是很奇怪，從來未曾看過，實在有點不可思議。」

新品種冬瓜不當陸軍匍匐前進，改當空軍離開地球表面，展現出來的強韌生命力，真的也算奇觀。(民視新聞 張士政、龐志龍 彰化報導)
