桃園縣環保局查獲蘆竹一家科技廠從雨水道排放未經處理的強酸電鍍廢水，嚴重污染南崁溪，稽查員依違反水污染防治法，處以重罰並勒令停工。

對於業者的僥倖行為，桃園環保局表示，至少處罰新台幣21萬元，且因該公司排放廢水屢次不符合放流水標準，認定違規情節重大，將予勒令停工，並於放流口設置電子儀器全天監測。

環保局稽查人員21日夜間前往南崁溪沿岸巡查，行經蘆竹南崁路二段時，發現道路側溝水質異常，以pH試紙測試呈現酸性反應。

經循水路往上游追查到這家科技公司外的雨水放流口，採樣檢測pH為2，屬強酸性廢水，隨即進廠稽查。

進廠稽查時，廠方代操業者仍矢口否認偷排廢水，稽查人員不為所動，拿出科學辦案的精神，將紅色染料投入該廠廢水收集井內，循紅色顏料追查廢水流向一段時間後，發現雨水溝竟排出紅色廢水；且陰井內的廢水經量測pH也是2，證明陰井內的廢水確實經由雨水溝排出廠外，當場讓代操業者百口莫辯，坦承犯行。(中央社)
