結球白菜雜交升級　全年都可種

亞蔬中心今天舉行育種成果發表會，屬高冷蔬菜的結球白菜，經品種改良，提高抗熱性，在夏天也能大量種植，吸引農業專家到場觀摩，計畫和種苗公司洽談合作，希望能大量育苗，將「夏日版」的結球白菜推廣到一般農戶。

亞蔬中心指出，為讓民眾在夏天能吃到品質優良的結球白菜，多年來利用不斷雜交的方式進行品種改良，終於培育出抗熱性佳的結球白菜，打破過去限定冬季供應，夏天也能在平地大量栽植。育苗期約三個星期，種入農田後約三十天就可以收成。（王志弘／台南報導）
