房祖名因吸毒被捕，所屬的群石國際經紀發聲明表示：「經證實，群石國際有限公司藝人房祖名因爲違反禁毒相關法律，被北京警方拘留；案情進展還在進一步瞭解中。藝人現在拘留所，公司代表律師也無法與本人取得聯繫。現以群石國際有限公司名義，暫代房祖名本人一起向社會公眾致歉，對於此次事件造成的社會影響，公司願意與房祖名一起承擔。希望社會公眾以此爲警示。作爲長期合作的工作夥伴，群石國際有限公司願意相信房祖名的爲人，並願意與社會大眾、相關部門一起監督他改過自新，回到正途。公司也將持續關注案情的進一步發展，有最新消息會再次向公眾、媒體進行告知。」（娛樂中心／綜合報導）
