玉里人齊聚 怒吼我要電扶梯

「我要電扶梯！」花蓮縣玉里鎮火車站前14日齊聚了100多位抗議民眾，要求玉里火車站改建工程增設電扶梯，給玉里人一個安全舒適的搭車環境。鐵改局東工處玉里工程段副段長嚴淑貞表示，下周將召開協調會，回應民眾需求。

花蓮縣議員龔文俊表示，玉里火車站為花蓮縣第2大站，玉里鎮又有3間大型醫院，鄰近鄉鎮眾多民眾都會到玉里就診或轉診，每日進出人次多達上千人，其中有許多老弱婦孺及病患進出，如沒有電扶梯非常不便，希望鐵改局能將改建一次到位。

騎電動車赴現場抗議的91歲顏張玉音阿嬤表示，玉里火車站沒有電扶梯相當不便，尤其對她這種行動不便的老人，上下樓梯簡直是種煎熬，「政府要聽人民的心聲啦！按奈才是愛百姓啦！」

嚴淑貞特地趕赴現場了解，卻只表示「會將意見傳達給長官」，令民眾相當不滿；經地方民代折衝協調，她才改口，下星期將在玉里鎮召開協調會，做好雙向溝通，並回應民眾要求。龔文俊揚言，如未獲善意回應，不排除採取更激烈手段中斷改建工程。
