星野仙一退任，樂天金鷹隊總教練人選，已經決定由二軍監督大久保博元升任，這項人事命令將在近期正式對外公布。

包括球團老闆三木谷浩史，以及社長立花陽三等球團高層，連續幾天在東京都內密集會談之後，終於在昨天做出最後決定。

之前立花社長曾經表示：「新任總教練將以了解公司理念者為優先考量。」大久保自2012年擔任樂天一軍打擊教練，去年起擔任二軍總教練，對於球隊的年輕選手，有著相當好的把握度。

今年在星野監督休息那段時間，大久保也曾代理17場比賽，被認為是星野野球的最佳繼任人選。

至於大久保新任監督的教練團，一般認為由他在二軍的教練大量升任的可能性極高，而二軍監督預定由原一軍首席教練仁村接任。
