南非衛生部長莫紹雷迪日前正式宣布，為免伊波拉病毒入侵，除非極為特殊狀況，否則嚴禁南非人民前往西非疫情最為嚴重的3個國家旅遊，同時禁止這3國人民進入南非。

南非新聞網站「時報即時消息」（Times LIVE）昨天引述莫紹雷迪（Aaron Motsoaledi）報導，幾內亞、獅子山和賴比瑞亞疫情極為嚴重，任何由這個地區進入南非境內的人，將必須接受嚴格檢驗。

他進一步強調，「不論是誰，企圖透過其他方式前往這3個國家，將永遠不准回到南非境內。」

根據世界衛生組織（WHO）最新資料顯示，上述3國加上奈及利亞，共計4國的確定感染病例已達到2615例，其中1427人死亡。

4國中，賴比瑞亞死亡人數最多，有624人，其次是幾內亞的406人，獅子山的392人以及奈及利亞5人。

莫紹雷迪表示，由上述疫區進入南非旅客，務必填寫1份問卷調查，誠實回答每個題目，並接受測量體溫，稍有懷疑，就必須接受進一步醫療檢驗。

他進一步表示，每名疑似伊波拉病患所需檢驗費用為2萬1000鍰（約新台幣6萬3000元）。不久前1名37歲的衛生工作人員自賴比瑞亞返回南非，立即接受一連串檢驗，幸好沒有感染。(中央社)
