華視、夢田《巷弄裡的那家書店》劇情進入高潮，黃鴻升（小鬼）狠甩謝欣穎的分手戲讓不少網友跌破眼鏡，紛紛直呼：「被編劇打臉了！」不過苦主謝欣穎反而替小鬼護航，認為是自己演出角色太自私的關係才導致戀情破局。

謝欣穎被小鬼狠甩，讓原本預測謝欣穎會因愛上書店老闆李威，向小鬼提分手的網友眼鏡碎一地，她戲中上演追車、落淚劇碼挽回戀情，令人不捨，戲外則不忘替小鬼說話：「我覺得可馨（劇中名）滿自私的，在感情世界裡，兩個人應該要互相體諒，彼此了解，而不是一個人去追求自己的夢想。」

不過謝欣穎戲外事業、愛情兩得意，近來都在高雄拍戲的她，幾乎每兩天就坐高鐵往返北高，活動代言接不完，笑稱：「我已經把高鐵當公車在搭了，要變成高鐵代言人了！」
